Supply Chain Manager – Spices Business

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales & Procurement  with expertise in Corporate/B2B Sales, Procurement, Cross-Selling, and Export Sales within the Whole Spices segment (Chilli, Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in institutional sales, supplier management, and international trade. This role requires a results-driven professional who can expand the customer base, optimize procurement strategies, and drive export growth.

The position involves regular travel within the assigned region and demands a proactive, strategic approach to both sales and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Develop and implement sales strategies to expand corporate, B2B, and export sales.

Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional buyers, food processing units, spice manufacturing companies, and international clients.

Identify cross-selling opportunities within the spice portfolio to maximize revenue from existing clients.

Educate customers on product quality, applications, and benefits to drive value-based selling.

Export Sales & Market Expansion

Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets for raw and processed spices.

Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation, and quality standards.

Procurement & Supplier Management

Source and procure high-quality spices from raw spice sellers and suppliers at competitive prices.

Maintain a strong network with farmers, traders, and spice manufacturing companies to ensure a consistent and reliable supply chain.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms to maximize profitability and ensure product availability.

Monitor market trends, quality standards, and pricing fluctuations to make data-driven procurement decisions.

Cross-Selling & Strategic Partnerships

Identify opportunities to sell complementary products to existing customers.

Develop strategic alliances with spice processing companies, food manufacturers, and exporters to increase market reach.

Must-have Skills

Strong network with raw spice sellers, suppliers, and spice manufacturing companies.
5+ years of experience in B2B Sales, Procurement, Cross-Selling, and Export Sales. Proven experience in institutional sales, supplier negotiations, and international trading.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a deep understanding of the spice market.

Good-to-have Skills

Knowledge of at least two major spice commodities, including sales, quality assessment, and top buyers.
Experience working with food processing units, export businesses, or large-scale spice distribution.
