Company Overview:
FarMart Pantry is embarking on an exciting journey to build a strong presence in the Quick Commerce, E-commerce, and Modern Trade spaces. We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual who can take ownership of setting up and scaling our business on these channels from scratch. This is a unique opportunity to play a foundational role in the growth of a new and ambitious brand.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Ownership & Revenue Growth
•Drive revenue and profitability targets across GT, MT, Quick Commerce, and E-commerce channels, ensuring sustainable growth and efficient cost management.
•Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve P&L objectives, with accountability for budgeting, forecasting, and revenue targets.
Channel Strategy & Expansion
•Design and implement tailored strategies for each sales channel, maximizing reach and performance while ensuring brand consistency.
•Identify and evaluate new markets, geographies, and product categories for expansion, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demand.
Team Leadership & Development
•Lead and build a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, providing mentorship, and fostering a results-oriented culture.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies, promotions, and product launches.
Relationship Management & Partnerships
•Establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and partners across all channels, securing favorable terms and collaboration opportunities.
•Collaborate with platform representatives, retail chains, and distribution networks to drive sales initiatives and maximize visibility and placement.
Sales Execution & Performance Optimization
•Oversee day-to-day sales operations, monitor performance metrics, and ensure efficient execution across all channels.
•Implement best practices and processes to streamline operations, manage pricing and promotions, and boost market penetration.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis
•Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, using insights to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
•Leverage data-driven insights to optimize product assortment, identify gaps, and launch category-specific strategies.
Budgeting & Financial Management
•Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet business objectives and maintain profitability.
•Track and analyze financial performance, adjusting strategies and allocations to achieve short-term and long-term financial targets.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
•Identify and implement innovative strategies and tools to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and leveraging technology to drive process enhancements.
Qualifications:
• Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5-10+ years of sales leadership experience, within FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods.
• Proven track record of managing P&L and driving revenue growth across multiple channels.
• Strong knowledge of GT, MT, Quick Commerce, and E-commerce strategies and operations.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
