Job Description:
As the D2C Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth through e-commerce, ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce), and our own website. You will be responsible for formulating and executing strategies that enhance customer engagement, drive revenue, and optimize the performance of all digital sales channels. Your focus will be on creating a seamless and efficient online shopping experience while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue across digital channels, including e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), ONDC, and the company website.
- Lead product pricing, inventory management, promotional campaigns, and sales optimization initiatives to meet growth targets.

Channel Management:
- Oversee and optimize product listings across various e-commerce platforms to ensure accuracy, visibility, and conversion.
- Develop strong partnerships with platform representatives to enhance brand presence and visibility on key e-commerce platforms.
- Work with the ONDC team to drive the brand’s participation and growth within the network.

Customer Experience:
- Ensure a smooth and frictionless customer experience from browsing to checkout and post-purchase support.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to optimize website performance, mobile responsiveness, and user engagement.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty, including the development of a strong online community.

Digital Marketing and Advertising:
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to design and implement online campaigns that drive sales, such as paid search, social media ads, and influencer partnerships.
- Track and optimize paid campaigns to ensure cost-effective acquisition and strong ROI.

Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to track website performance, customer behavior, and sales trends across platforms.
- Regularly report on sales performance, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
- Analyze competitor strategies and identify market trends to keep the brand competitive.

Collaboration and Cross-functional Work:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and promotions.
- Coordinate with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate stock levels.

Growth & Innovation:
- Identify new opportunities for growth within existing platforms and new channels (including exploring new technologies or platforms for D2C expansion).
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in e-commerce, digital marketing, and D2C sales to ensure the brand remains competitive.

Content Strategy:
- Collaborate with content teams to create compelling product descriptions, images, and videos to boost conversions on all platforms.
- Ensure that product messaging is consistent across all channels and aligns with the brand’s identity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, D2C sales, or digital marketing, preferably in the food, FMCG, or CPG sector.
- Proven success in driving sales growth across e-commerce platforms, ONDC, and owned websites.
- Strong understanding of online sales funnels, conversion optimization, digital marketing, and customer behavior analytics.
- Expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
