About the Role:

We are seeking a problem-solver with a passion for design to join us as a Product Design Intern. In this role, you'll work on our Android app, tackling real-world challenges faced by our on-ground business teams. The focus will be on creating solutions that save time, streamline processes, and make their tasks easier. You'll also contribute to the app's design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

•  Problem-Solving Focus: Your primary goal will be to understand and solve the challenges faced by our business team, not just to create pretty designs.
•  Hygienic Design Work: Maintain clean, organized, and scalable designs with attention to detail.
• Holistic Understanding: Get a chance to dive deep into how technology and design come together to create impactful products.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Understanding Micro-Interactions: Knowledge of micro-interactions and how they enhance user experience is essential.
• Android Design Principles: Familiarity with designing for Android apps, including navigation, UI patterns, and user expectations.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to simplify complex processes and deliver intuitive, user-focused solutions.
• Previous Experience: Must have completed at least one internship in product or UI/UX design.
• Team Collaboration: Be open to feedback and eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design solutions for the Android app, prioritizing functionality and user needs.
• Collaborate with the product team (primarily with the hiring manager) to address design challenges.
• Create and maintain a design system for the Android app to ensure consistency.
• Work on implementing clean, user-friendly micro-interactions.
•  Deliver high-quality designs in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
