Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations at our Sharjah warehouse.
This role will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance, managing inventory and cash flow controls, and supporting business reporting to the holding company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse accounting, VAT, and reconciliations, and a strong understanding of financial documentation and controls.

 


 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and stock accounting at the warehouse, including inward and outward material controls.

  • Ensure timely and accurate sales invoice generation and posting in the accounting system.

  • Record expenses, provisions, and vendor payments in line with accounting standards.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial entries are accurate.

  • Conduct regular cash and inventory counts, highlighting discrepancies promptly.

  • Prepare and share MIS reports and monthly statements with the holding company.

  • Handle employee reimbursements and advances, ensuring policy compliance.

  • Monitor internal financial controls and adherence to SOPs.

  • Prepare and reconcile data for VAT returns and ensure compliance with local laws.

  • Assist in corporate tax filing and related documentation.

  • Support audit processes, providing necessary data and clarifications.

  • Undertake other accounting, compliance, and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.

 


 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.

  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in warehousing, FMCG, or trading companies.

  • Working knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, or similar accounting software.

  • Strong understanding of VAT filing, reconciliations, and documentation standards.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial reporting.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ethical conduct.
